ASA 101 (Part A) Basic Keelboat Sailing

Learn to Sail a 22′ sailboat in light winds and sea conditions in familiar waters under supervision. This course is designed for the novice who wishes to get a solid foundation and a level of confidence before advancing to the more intensive certification courses. Taught on our Catalina Capri 22 keelboats; covers rigging the boat, tacking, jibing, sailing all points of sail, nautical terminology and safety. Serves as the first half of ASA 101, or simply a fun weekend learning to sail!
